About Tanzania 2000

Tanzania 2000 is a work begun by the elders of the Kensington Woods church of Christ in Hattiesburg, Mississippi in 1998.  This 20-year plan is designed to plant the seed of God's word in Northern Tanzania and throughout all of East Africa.  The Tanzania 2000 mission team targets the following areas as the Lord's church grows and develops in Northern Tanzania:

• Local evangelism

• Church planting

• The maturing of new Christians

• Preacher and leadership training

The need is great, the time is right, and the laborers are few.  Would you consider joining or assisting us in this endeavor?
